Weekly Astrology Forecast: August 7–13, 2026

The week commencing August 7, 2026, unfolds beneath the radiant glow of the Leo Sun, igniting a potent energy of expression, creativity, and self-affirmation. As Venus and Mars conjoin in the spirited sign of Virgo, the cosmos invites us to channel our passions into practical pursuits, ensuring that our fiery aspirations find tangible form. This week also presents us with opportunities for deeper emotional connections and healing, particularly under the harmonious trine between the Moon in Pisces and the Sun in Leo midweek. Prepare to embrace the dynamic interplay of fiery enthusiasm and earthy practicality, allowing your authentic self to shine while remaining grounded in reality.

Monday–Wednesday: The Opening Move

As we enter this week, the Moon will transit through Taurus on Monday, creating a stable foundation for the week ahead. The Moon’s sextile to Neptune in Pisces enhances our intuition, making it a perfect day for setting intentions regarding financial stability and emotional security. With Venus and Mars tightly aligned at 6° Virgo, our desires align with our actions, pushing us toward practical achievements. This potent conjunction encourages us to tackle projects that require both heart and hand, enriching our sense of purpose.

By Tuesday, as the Moon shifts into Gemini, communication becomes key. The Gemini Moon squares the Sun in Leo, igniting a spark of creative tension that pushes us to articulate our desires. While this aspect can create some friction, it's an excellent time to express your ideas and showcase your talents. Consider reaching out to colleagues or sharing your thoughts with loved ones; the energy is ripe for collaboration.

Midweek arrives with the gem of the week: a harmonious trine between the Moon in Gemini and the Sun in Leo. This aspect brings clarity and confidence to our self-presentation. Use this energy to network, share ideas, or even launch creative projects. The flow of communication enhances your charisma, building bridges that may lead to new opportunities. As the Moon enters Cancer by Wednesday evening, prepare for an emotional shift, deepening your focus on home and family matters.

Thursday–Friday: The Pivot Point

Thursday brings a significant pivot as Mercury, the planet of communication, enters Leo. This transit will amplify our self-expression, making it a compelling time to voice your thoughts and ideas with flair and confidence. However, be mindful of excess ego or dramatic flair that can overshadow substance. This is an excellent period for presentations or any work requiring a personal touch, as Leo’s vibrant energy boosts charisma and creativity.

The weekend is punctuated by a tense square between Mars in Virgo and Pluto in Capricorn on Friday. This aspect can trigger power struggles or confrontations, particularly in workplace dynamics. It’s crucial to channel this intensity constructively; focus on transformation and ambition rather than conflict. Instead of getting bogged down in disagreements, leverage this energy to assert your goals and push through challenges with determination.

Friday evening sees the Moon entering Leo, aligning beautifully with the Sun and Mercury, creating a lovely atmosphere for social gatherings and creative expressions. Take advantage of this energy to connect with friends or express yourself through art, performances, or shared experiences. The combination of Leo Moon and Mercury in Leo encourages bold communication and heartfelt connections, ensuring you shine brightly in the social sphere.

Weekend: Integration and Rest

The weekend invites a pause for integration and emotional reflection. With the Moon still in Leo on Saturday, the energy is vibrant and playful, making it perfect for leisure activities, hobbies, and creative endeavors. As you bask in the warmth of self-expression, consider engaging in activities that bring you joy, whether that’s hosting a gathering or indulging in your favorite artistic pursuits.

As the Moon transitions into Virgo on Sunday, the focus shifts toward grounding and assessment. This energy supports reflection on the week’s progress and a reassessment of your goals. It’s a day to cultivate mindfulness and prepare for the upcoming week. Use this time for self-care, perhaps through journaling or organizing your thoughts, as Virgo’s meticulous nature helps to clarify your next steps.
